Al Dana Amphitheatre B.S.C (closed) (“ADA”) as the venue owner is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment for its patrons. In support of this, the following conditions of entry (“Conditions of Entry”) apply to entry for event, show, performance, attraction or other activity (“Event”) held at the premises which patrons are entering (“Venue”). For certain Events these may be supplemented by additional specific terms and conditions, details of which will be printed on a patron’s ticket and/or available on the relevant Event page. If a patron does not consent to the T&Cs, the patron must not enter the Venue. By entering the Venue, the patron consents to be bound by the T&Cs including the following Conditions of Entry.
Safety and Behaviour
At the point of entry and whilst inside the Venue, patrons are required to (a) comply with the directions or announcements from ADA’s staff and any other requirements relating to access, order, behaviour and safety given by ADA or authorities; (b) maintain safe, prudent and respectful behaviour at all times; (c) be responsible for personal items. ADA will not be responsible for any damage to, loss or theft of a patron’s personal property; (d) keep escape routes and corridors, landings and stairwells clear of obstruction caused by a patron’s personal property, or any equipment brought to the Venue.
Patrons acknowledge that some Events and associated activities can be dangerous.
Patrons attending the Event do so at their own risk and assume all risk and liability for personal injury or death including that of any children under their care associated with attending the Event. ADA and if applicable the promoter shall bear no liability for any personal injuries, health problems or death sustained at or after an Event, including directly or indirectly resulting from any existing medical condition.
Entry and Exclusion
- For All ticketed Events, each patron must have a valid ticket to access the Venue. Tickets are non-transferable.
- Children under 16 years old must have a Ticket to attend an Event.
- Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult/parent aged 21 or over. Children under 16 years old are not permitted in the Golden Circle for standing shows.
- ADA reserves the right to check identification of any ticket holder upon entry or once inside the Venue.
- ADA reserves the right as all times to refuse admission to or to remove any person from the Venue. This includes, but is not limited to the following circumstances:
- The conduct of the patron is disorderly and /or inappropriate.
- The presence of the patron would be detrimental, compromises safety at the Event or poses a threat to enjoyment of other event patrons.
- The patron is wearing or displaying commercial, political or other offensive signage or logos, except for official merchandise or other Event related clothing worn in good faith.
- The patron who refuses to be inspected or submits his/her identification.
- The patron who refuses to submit to any search for including but not limited to, any prohibited items, recording devices and controlled or dangerous substances.
- The patron is found to be smoking, e-smoking or vaping within the Venue, unless it is at the designated smoking areas.
- The patron who holds items which have the potential to cause injury or public nuisance or patron who throws any projectile/item prohibited under Restricted/Prohibited Items clause within the Venue.
- Ticket is damaged, defaced, forged or copied, or purchased from any unauthorized source, including a ticket scalper.
- Adverse weather, dangerous situations or any other causes that will affect the safety of patrons.
- Entry to the Venue or an area prohibited to the general public within the Venue was unauthorised or obtained illegally.
- The patron who breaches these Conditions of Entry.
- No refund or compensation will be made under any of these circumstances.
- ADA reserves the right to issue a banning notice which prohibits entry to the Venue for a specified period of time. ADA will refuse entry or remove from the Venue any person who has been issued with a banning notice.
General Conditions
- The Venue does not permit smoking unless in the designated smoking area available for all events. This includes E cigarettes, vapes and other electronic imitations or simulation devices.
- A Designated vendors will be serving special beverages on the premises +to individuals who are 21 years of age or older. Valid government-issued photo identification must be presented upon request to verify age. Failure to provide acceptable ID will result in refusal of service and/or entry.
- All visitors and patrons attending Al Dana Amphitheatre must not solicit, attempt to sell or distribute any goods, advertisements, promotional or political materials (or similar), etc. to persons attending the theatre or within the venue premises.
- Patron must occupy the seat specified on the ticket only, or if a Golden Circle standing ticket is purchased, patron must remain in the standing area and is not permitted in the seating area.
- No refund will be made under any circumstances, except at promoter’s discretion if the Event is postponed or cancelled, and then according to promoter’s refund policy. Conditions of refund are available at the Box Office.
- The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the Event whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual event, including any death, personal injury, loss, damage or liability.
- ADA accepts the following forms of ID within the Venue:
- A current driver’s or rider’s license or permit (issued by Bahrain Government or any foreign country)
- A current Passport with a photograph
- A current Bahrain Resident Identity Card with a photograph
Filming and Photography
Equipment including but not limited to CCTV, film cameras and sound recording are present at the Venue. There will be filming, photography and recording at all ADA Events.
By entering the Venue and/or attending the Event, Patrons consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded and for ADA and any assignees to use the Patrons’ image, likeness and any sound recording for any media or other purposes including public transmission, streaming, web casting, advertising or promotional purposes, without payment or claim to copyright or intellectual property rights.
Patrons are advised that commercial broadcast or CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) are recording upon entry and throughout the Venue for safety and security purposes. Patrons consent to footage being shared with police and authorities where necessary.
In order to maintain an enjoyable experience for all guests, video cameras, monopods, tripods, selfie sticks, audio recording devices and professional cameras (those including telephoto or zoom lenses) are not permitted for Events.
Some Events, at promoter’s request, may prohibit the use of any devices for photography, video and audio recording (including live streaming).
The use of any recording, data or image taken within the Venue without ADA’s consent for commercial gain, public advertisement, display or any other purpose, except for private non-commercial purpose, is prohibited.
Any person who makes, reproduces or uses any recording, data or image for use prohibited under this clause shall assign in writing all copyright and intellectual property rights to ADA or its assignees.
Prohibited & Restricted Items
The following prohibited & restricted items are not permitted into the Venue:
- Bags or luggage larger than A4 size, backpacks of any size
- Selfie sticks, monopods and tripods
- Glassware or glass bottles, and cans of any type including spray cans
- Alcohol
- Outside food and drinks including bottled water
- Fireworks/flares, explosives, and flammable items
- Musical instruments and noise makers including but not limited to air horns, whistles, trumpets, sirens, Vuvuzelas.
- Weapons of any kind or resemblance of weapons, including but not limited to scissors, blades, knives, firearms, blunt offensive objects/batons and those with sharp ends
- Projectile items which are reasonably considered by ADA as being able to cause injury, nuisance or offence to another person including all kind of balls, frisbees, rackets or similar objects
- Professional cameras or cameras with a detachable lens, telephoto lens or a lens that extends more than 5cm from the body of the camera (flash photography is not permitted), Laptops, tablets and iPads, power banks (larger than the approved size of 5.9in X 2.7in X 0.55in) and any recording device of any kind
- Illegal substances of any kind including dangerous or illicit drugs
- Chairs / stools
- Chains and spiked wrist / neck bands or studded belts
- Laser Pointers, permanent markers / felt type pens, or aerosol canisters
- Drones and or other remote-controlled devices or unmanned aerial vehicles
- Helmets of any type including motorbike helmets or balaclavas
- Flags, banners, posters or signs larger than 30cm x 30cm, flag poles, LED and fan boards larger than A3 size and content must not be offensive in any nature.
- Ivory
- Umbrellas longer than 300mm (when in the closed position)
- Helium balloons or other inflatables.
- Bicycles, skateboards / skates / scooters
- Items too large to be electronically screened
- Animals
Any other item determined by ADA as illegal, unsafe and/or as it may cause injury or public nuisance.
Miscellaneous
ADA may hold liable for prosecution any person who breaches any of the above Conditions of Entry.
